Reformer 2 expands the potential of the Pilates Reformer through an in-depth exploration of intermediate and advanced exercises, progressions, and modifications. This course focuses on refining movement quality while developing adaptable programming strategies for a broader range of clients.

Participants will apply Movement Principles to more complex Reformer-based work, with particular attention to class design, dynamic assessment, and the identification and correction of common dysfunctional movement patterns. Programming considerations for special populations—including prenatal and postnatal clients, as well as individuals with osteoporosis and lower back considerations—are integrated to support safe, effective, and purposeful movement.

    • Each pair of students will share one Reformer throughout the course, allowing them to spot each other, offer support, and enhance their learning experience.
