The curriculum integrates current movement science with a deep respect for Pilates principles, emphasizing clarity, progression, and practical application across diverse bodies.

Balanced Body® education follows a progressive, consecutive pathway designed to build a strong foundation before advancing to more complex material. Courses are not stand-alone modules and are intended to be completed in sequence. The certification pathway begins with:
• Balanced Body® Movement Principles & Pilates Essentials This foundational course introduces core Pilates principles, movement concepts, and teaching fundamentals that underpin all subsequent training. From there, students may progress to: • Balanced Body® Mat Instructor Training
• Balanced Body® Reformer Instructor Training Additional workshops and continuing education courses may be offered throughout the year to support ongoing learning and professional development.
Completion of Movement Principles & Pilates Essentials is required before enrolling in Mat or Reformer Instructor Training.
